“Playing a New Song” is a series of keyboard arrangements of hymn tunes or harmonizations published in the latter 20th century. They are designed especially for worship in congregations using keyboards rather than or in addition to organs. They can be helpful as preludes, offertories and other service music in making new melodies more familiar to congregations.
